We
produce flooring, paneling and custom mouldings from a wide range of woods and in many different styles. Several native species are available in many grades,
are grown locally and are usually the most affordable. Antique flooring from reclaimed woods is more costly and the selection is more limited but for restoration,
period or unique design work,
the material is unmatched. Specialty
flooring is produced from native, reclaimed or exotic species and is produced to our clients' exact specifications. Special textures and/or realistic distressing options
are available.

Native Red Oak - A slight
amount of character was allowed in this floor to make it interesting and to cover the large expanses of space in this home
while at the same time agreeing with the clients' budget.

Antique Chestnut- This client chose a high character grade, very rare material
to compliment a house full of antiques. Since the flooring was glued down over concrete, a stable material
was required. This was achieved by providing character grade, vertical grain, narrow Chestnut for the floor and plain sawn select
Chestnut for the stair treads.

Native Sweet Birch- These homeowners were looking
for an affordable, high end looking floor. The realatively uniform blonde tone and formal appearance was achieved by sorting
this native specie for color and grade. A special request that other suppliers would not entertain but that we thrive
on.

Antique Pine- This farmhouse lover wanted authenticity down to the scratches
and dents this softwood material would develop over time. This 150 year old material was actually taken from her attic, remanufactured
and installed in the home. She thinks out of the box.
|

Antique Heart Pine- This specialty floor that was ordered for a high end
project was milled with a crown to mimick a 300 year old, warped floor. Hand planed, scraped and distressed after installation,
it was then finished by a master finisher with high quality oils and stains. The final product can only be imagined. This
discerning client allowed no photographs.

Quartersawn White Oak and Figured Walnut- This specialty parquet floor was
designed and ordered by an architect. The "three dimensional look" is hardly seen in the photograph.
